Mrs. Cathy Bean-Gamble was born in Birmingham, Alabama. She is the daughter of Nathan E. Bean
and Alice Day Bean of St Clair County. She received a B.A. and M.A. degree(s) in English with Honors
from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Additionally, Mrs. Gamble has received a M.Ed in Educational
Leadership and Ed.S degree in Instructional Leadership. She is an education specialist. Also, she is pursuing a doctorate degree in Education. samford.jpg
Mrs. Gamble has worked at Moody High School in St Clair County for the past thirteen years. She is the Senior English Teacher/Instructor. Additionally, she has worked as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and Jefferson State Community College. Also, she worked as the HOD of English/Drama at Pakuranga College in Auckland, New Zealand.She is currently serving in that capacity at MHS.

Mrs. Gamble established programs in St Clair County at MHS such as Dual Enrollment English and the Gold Medalist, "All Alabama" Literary Magazine Between The Lines. Also, Mrs. Gamble is a member of Who's Who Among America's Teacher's.
Mrs. Gamble served on the St Clair County District accreditation team. She is currently in the process of initiating the National English Honor Society at MHS.
Mrs. Gamble has one son, John who is currently attending law school at the
University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He attended Oxford University in England and attained his bachelor's degree in Political Science from UA.

His father is a graduate of the University of Florida. He attended law school at Samford University.
He worked for the Alabama Supreme Court before establishing his own law firm.

Mrs. Gamble is blessed with a large family most of whom are long term residents of St Clair County, Alabama. She is thankful for all of them. Additionally, she is proud of the many....
